Katie grew up on the island of Kauai, HI. She graduated from Northern Arizona University in 2011 with a degree in Biology and has worked in the veterinary field since 2012. Katie has been with Big Sky since February 2018, where she started as a receptionist. Katie moved into the Lead Assistant position in December 2019. In addition to mentoring the Big Sky Assistants, Katie is also a technician and works hard to provide our patients with compassionate care.  

Her family's love for the outdoors brought them to Montana in 2017. She has a husband, 2 young daughters, 2 dogs, and 4 cats! She loves to camp, paddleboard, raft, snowboard and is always seeking the next outdoor adventure. Katie has a soft spot for our feline patients, and is sure to swoon over your kitty on its next trip into the vet!
