Veterinarian

Dr. Jessica Johnson

Dr. Jessica Johnson, a dedicated and compassionate veterinarian, was born and raised in the vibrant state of Illinois. She graduated from the reputable University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 2017 and set forth on her veterinary journey, caring for a variety of animals. Initially, Dr. Johnson served in Iowa, where she honed her skills as a mixed animal vet, and then moved on to Butte, continuing her work with different animal species.

Dr. Johnson has developed specific professional interests over the years. She has a focus on canine reproduction and geriatric/palliative care, highlighting her comprehensive approach toward the well-being of animals. In fact, she is on the verge of becoming IAAHPC Certified – a testament to her dedication.

Her ultimate goal as a veterinarian is to ensure that pets can enjoy the best possible life alongside their human companions. This goal stems from her belief in the profound bond shared between pets and their owners, and how this relationship contributes significantly to the health and happiness of both.

Away from her professional life, Dr. Johnson has a bustling and vibrant personal life. She is the loving mother of two children and has a supportive husband who keeps her busy and on her toes. The family is completed by their three dogs - Socks, an Anatolian Cross, Doc, a Labrador, and Charles, a Shar Pei Cross - and a horse named Gin. Their home is filled with love, laughter, and, of course, a lot of running around, which, for Dr. Johnson, is the perfect mix of chaos and joy.
